What type of wax do you use in Wax Pottery®?
Wax Pottery non-burning products use highly refined Food Grade Paraffin. Wax that is used in many food products.
What type of wax do you use in Wax Pottery® burning products?
Wick products use a variety of wax’s, 100% Soy/Vegetable wax, or a Soy/Paraffin blend wax or Paraffin wax.
What type of fragrances do you use? Are they natural?
We use man made synthetic fragrances which in many cases do contain some natural elements.
What kind of flowers are used in your Wax Pottery® products?
We use both natural and silk botanical elements to give us the widest range of colors and shapes for our products.
Should I use a candle stand, base, tile or holder to protect surfaces I place a candle on?
Always use a dish or stand to protect your furniture and linens. Fragrance oil may damage furniture. Do not place Wax Pottery® pieces directly on finished wood, painted surfaces or fabric.
How do I burn this bowl shaped candle I received?
This is a non-burning product that is designed to beautify and gently fragrance any room. Simply open the package and display on your favorite dish or stand.
How do I add fragrance to my Wax Pottery® vessel?
Clean or refresh the fragrance of your Wax Pottery® by gently buffing the surface with a soft cloth, or gently warming the surface with a hair dryer set to the lowest temperature to avoid melting. Never place in Oven or Microwave Oven.
How long does the fragrance last?
Everyone’s sense of smell varies. Wax Pottery® fragrance gradually diminishes over time, but typically will last 6 months or more. Variations in color, material placement and fragrance strength are not considered defects.
Are the succulents in my Painted Desert Collection/ Habersham GEO live plants?
No, they are not live plants. No watering required for these super realistic succulents.
Are the butterflies real in my wax pottery?
No, they are not real. They are actually made from hand painted chicken feathers.
Other helpful hints:
- Place your Wax Pottery® away from heat or direct light source. Heat or bright light may distort shape or color.
- Store seasonal Wax Pottery® inside a zip-lock bag to maintain fragrance for future use.
- Wax Pottery® is not intended for holding food or any liquid.
- Replace your Wax Pottery® in a timely fashion for full fragrance enjoyment and look for other Habersham Candle products in your favorite fragrances.
